Third ODI washed out

The third One Day International between England and the West Indies was declared a draw.

Players were unable to take to the field as it rained all day in Yorkshire, leaving England with a 2-0 series win.

England’s final game against the West Indies is a T20 game at Trent Bridge.

T20 games which include the West Indies are always exciting.  They have some really big hitters and crowd pleasers, which is exactly what you want for a one-off game.

Just five days after that T20 game, the five game ODI series against Australia starts.

The Australian team have done well in their warm-ups so far, beating Leicestershire by 102 runs in another game that was hampered with rain.

Starting tomorrow, Australia play Ireland and then Essex in two more warm-up games before heading straight into the series with England.

Now that Australia are finally bringing through some fresh players I hope it’ll be an exciting and free flowing series, without too many rain interruptions.

Of course, I still hope England absolutely spank the Aussies and send them home crying after once again being beaten by the best team in the world.

Too long have England suffered in the shadows of Australia, and now the tables have finally turned, I think it’s about time that England punish the Aus by showing no mercy or compassion and completely obliterating them.

After all, it is professional sports. England are supposed to try their best, and I have no doubt in my mind that England will prevail and show the rest of the world who are top dogs now.
